Adding, Subtracting & Data

How it works

Five short chapters follow the unit’s lessons in order. Each step shows one idea with something to tap or move, then a quick check. A wrong answer names the likely mistake and gives one more try.

Read to me

The Read to me buttons read each step and quick check aloud with the device’s built-in voice, for students still learning to read. Progress is saved on this device.

Numbers

Adding and subtracting stays within 20 (up to 50 for tens and ones), graphs have up to 10 in each category, and compare problems stay within 100 with no regrouping.

Not covered

Center Days (Lessons 6, 12, and 17) and Class Surveys (Lesson 18) are hands-on, optional lessons that work better in class. There’s no practice game for this unit yet.
